Jonah Chapter Two

Then Jonah prayed to the LORD his God from inside the fish. He said,

“I cried out to the LORD in my great trouble,

and he answered me.

I called to you from the land of the dead,

and LORD, you heard me!

You threw me into the ocean depths,

and I sank down to the heart of the sea.

The mighty waters engulfed me;

I was buried beneath your wild and stormy waves.

Then I said, ‘O LORD, you have driven me from your presence.

Yet I will look once more toward your holy Temple.’

“I sank beneath the waves,

and the waters closed over me.

Seaweed wrapped itself around my head.

I sank down to the very roots of the mountains.

I was imprisoned in the earth,

Whose gates lock shut forever.

But you, O LORD my God,

snatched me from the jaws of death!

As my life was slipping away,

I remembered the LORD.

And my earnest prayer went out to you

in your holy Temple.

Those who worship false gods

turn their backs on all God’s mercies.

But I will offer sacrifices to you with songs of praise,

and I will fulfill all my vows.

For my salvation comes from the LORD alone.”

Then the LORD ordered the fish to spit Jonah out onto the beach.



     It is not unusual for me to wake up early in the morning to the sound of Father’s sweet voice speaking to me. Sometimes he speaks things in humor just to shake me awake. This was one of those days.

    At Three o’clock this morning I was awakened to the words “fish guts” ringing in my heart. What a pleasant thing to hear while your eyes are still glued shut. I gradually opened one eye and said “Lord. Fish guts?” This is the word of the day? Then I heard him laugh.

     He said get up and write down these words and share them with all my beloved whose lives seem to smell like fish guts. To those of you who tried with all your might but everything around you has fallen apart and is beginning to stink. To those who have taken the wrong road like Jonah. To those who are running from me whose lives seemingly have sunk down to the bottom of the earth, to the roots of the mountains in the great deep; speak to them these words:

     My loved ones, you may have gone the wrong way. You may have run from me but you can never get too far that I don’t hear your voice. Just as Jonah cried out to me from the depths and I heard him, so I shall hear you also. 

     Even if your life went from calm seas to stormy seas to being thrown overboard in the sea, only to be eaten by a fish. I am still with you. Even if you are locked in the earth in death where the doors don’t seem to open, I will hear you. I have not abandoned you.

     My dear children, my delight, you can run from me but you forget that I am in you, so no matter where you run I am still with you. So stop running from me and run to me. I love you and have great plans for your life. I have not forsaken you.

     Read and hear the prayer of my servant Jonah once again. Listen to it carefully. Notice how that even in his terrible condition he remembered that I was good. He prayed earnestly a prayer of deliverance mixed with worship. It’s not the formula of the prayer I want you to study. It’s the heart of the prayer. It’s the deepest part of his heart knowing that I am good and merciful even to those who have not gone the way I directed.

     A prayer without heartfelt feeling is just a recital. The power of prayer is not in the formula or in how many verses you memorized to quote with it. It’s about one heart crying out to another. I have compassion and I am emotional. We connect heart to heart, not head to head. I came to dwell in your heart and from there I write my laws into your heart and onto your mind. I program you with love and truth and the truth is that no matter how much you have messed up I am still in love with you.

     So let’s begin the journey back to truth today. Yes, some of you didn’t go the way I told you to. Some of you ran away instead of toward where I sent you. This doesn’t mean my plan for you is down the drain. It just means you get spit out on the beach. You still get to where you are going. You could have gone by ship on a peaceful sea but you chose the belly of the fish instead. My plan for you doesn’t change because you messed up. It just gets redirected from wherever you have run to.

     Call to me my children, my ears are open. Call to me with all your heart. Remember that I am good and loving and kind and willing to help you. Remember my goodness to all who call upon my name. Remember that I loved you so much that I gave my only son to save you. Remember all the times in the past when I have delivered you. Stir up the remembrance in your heart and pray from there.

     I have a great plan for your life and I have great days ahead for you. I won’t force you to follow that plan. You can choose to walk with me and enjoy the fellowship and the fragrance of heaven or you can smell fish guts. I will love you in either place.

     Don’t ever forget that you are my love and I have loved you from eternity and to eternity. Just because you messed up the present or the past doesn’t mean that I don’t have a glorious future for you. All is not lost. Come to me, talk to me, and let’s work this all out in love and forgiveness. 

     As David said “Even if I make my bed in hell you are with me.” How can I leave you when I live inside you? You are never alone and never too far down that I can’t bring you up. Ask Lazarus or my Son. My love for you doesn’t end at the graveyard.

     You are mine and I adore you even if you do smell like fish guts. Call to me. I will speak to the situation that swallowed you like a fish and I will command it to spit you out on a sunny beach. Oh my beloved, don’t hesitate any longer. Call me.

Abide In My Peace: Abide In Me

Psalm 91


9: If you make the LORD your refuge,

if you make the Most High your shelter,

no evil will conquer you;

no plague will come near your home.

For he will order his angels

to protect you wherever you go.

They will hold you up with their hands

so you won’t even hurt your foot on a stone.

You will trample upon lions and cobras;

you will crush fierce lions and serpents under your feet!

The LORD says, “I will rescue those who love me.

I will protect those who trust in my name.

When they call on me, I will answer;

I will be with them in trouble.

I will rescue and honor them.

I will reward them with a long life

and give them my salvation.”



Isaiah 26: 3

You will keep in perfect peace all who trust in you,

all whose thoughts are fixed on you!



     As I woke up today, Holy Spirit was using scripture to paint images on my heart. I love it when this happens. It’s as if God is using his own scriptures as paint and my heart as a canvas. It is as if one scripture is this color and another is that and then He blends them together to make something beautiful.

     So as I sat and pondered these verses, he spoke and asked me to write down these words and publish them for all to read and hear.

He said:



     My children, I am a great refuge. I am your safety. I am your healer, your deliverer, your encourager and your comforter. I am available at all time to be all things you could ever need, but you have to choose me in each moment of your life. You have to choose to abide in my shelter and under my wings.

     So how do you do this? You choose me by keeping your thoughts on me and not keeping them on the world and its troubles. Those in the world would teach you to be afraid. They always tell you the end is coming and my wrath is coming. The truth is that what is coming is my fiery love that will destroy darkness and rescue my people.

     I love each and every person who was ever born or ever will be born. I am doing all I can do to save each and every one. All that was needed for the salvation of the world was already accomplished in my son. All that is left is to get the word to all the prodigals that home is waiting and they don’t have to wander in the pig pen anymore. They have lost their way and are fighting among the pigs to scratch out a living when they have an inheritance in me.

     The good news of the gospel is reconciliation. Not anger and wrath. As long as those who are in my church preach wrath the world will remain in confusion. When the true message of my love and salvation is preached the world will be saved.

     This is why I need you to focus on me with every thought. I don’t want you to get bogged down in the fear that the world has. I want you to bask in my peace and be the magnet that draws the world to me. Each person is seeking love and safety and if the church keeps preaching doom and gloom the world will feel safer in their rut than in the church.

     My son is the hope of the world. He is the desire of the nations and it’s time for my people to preach that message again. You must live it to preach it. You must for once and for all let my peace rule your hearts and not let fear rule your heart. What do you have to fear? You have already passed from death to life. You were already transferred from the kingdom of darkness into the kingdom of my dear Son. There is absolutely no reason for you to ever be afraid.

     So my beloved will you choose to abide in me and live in my peace? Will you block out all the bad news and listen to the good news? What is there to gain by feasting on darkness when you could be feasting on heavenly bread?

     Those who make you afraid don’t love you. They just want to sell you something. Those who preach freedom from fear just want to love you and give you something. They want to give you the peace that is within them that came from me.

     My dear, sweet children, did you forget how much you are loved? Did you forget that I loved you so much that I poured out the most precious life ever to save you? Stop; think about it for a moment. Would I love you that much and not love you enough to protect you?

     There is only one catch; you have to choose my love over fear. You have to take every thought captive and put away the fear by focusing on my love. Your mind is like a machine that runs on thoughts but you can decide what fuel you run on. You can choose fear that clogs up the machine like sludge or you can choose peace which keeps the machine running effortlessly. 

     As a man thinks in his heart so is he. You can think yourself in safety or you can think yourself in fear and torment. Your minds can be renewed to my truth and you can come to the understanding that I dwell within you and you are safe. Nothing can separate you from my love but you can choose to set your mind on fear instead.

     Oh how I love you and wish you were free. Free to play like children and not worry about world events. Free to laugh and run and free to climb into my lap and let me hold you. 

     Those who teach you to be afraid are not the ones in love with you. Focus on the one who is in love with you. Focus on me. Set your minds and hearts on me and on my love for you. Start each day by taking a moment to meditate on my love for you. Don’t get out of bed until you look into my smiling eyes and see me adoring you. Keep that image in your mind and heart and don’t let fear lead you into depression.

     Ask yourself one question: In one million years from now will I still be afraid of the thing that is tormenting me today? If the answer is no then why does it matter? Remember all the things in the past that they said were going to destroy the world? What about them now? The world is still here and still full of people that I love and want to rescue.

     How about we begin with you? Will you run to me and seek safety in my love? Will you take control of your mind and bring it back to peace. Will you turn off all those who seek to scare the hell out of you and let me love the heaven into you? The world is confused. It is preparing for a funeral while heaven prepares for a wedding. What a glorious time is coming!

     Jesus told you that in my house are many mansions. You can dwell in my love for you or you can dwell in fear. You just can’t live in both at once. You live where your mind lives. Live in me my beloved. Please, hear me, I love you and I want you in perfect peace. I want you under my wings. I want you in my lap and not living in fear of what the world is selling.

     My son is the Prince of Peace, not the prince of fear, wrath and destruction. Abide in my peace, abide in my love, and abide in me.

Liar, Liar, Church on Fire

     While praying today Father spoke to me and said:

     My son, write down these words and publish them so my loved ones can read and hear them. Tell them not to fear. Again I say, tell them not to fear.

     My children, so many of you are hoping against hope. You are standing when your legs are weary and your feet ache. I know all these things. I am with you and my strength will sustain you in all things. You must know that I have a plan for you individually and as a group. I am building and eternal kingdom and there are things that you don’t understand that are happening.

     I am shaking the very foundations of your belief. Your faith has been forged by fire until only the purest part of it remains. This is not pleasant but it is necessary. My church is undergoing deconstruction. So many false teachings and lying traditions have led so many the wrong way. I have to tear down the lies and restore the truth. The false church must be torn down so the eternal church will emerge.

     My gospel, which is my great news, started out as a simple message that unskilled fishermen could preach and children and those who didn’t even have the ability to read and write could understand perfectly. Now you argue over which translation written by the scholar with more letters behind his name than in his name is correct. Spending hours fighting over one letter or one word and wasting a whole day you could have spent in fellowship with me or each other.

     Too much education has made you mad. You must return to the simple truth of the message. I loved the world. I sent my son. He took away the sins of the world and rescued all the hostages who were captive to sin. All that was needed to restore fellowship was completed. All that is left to do is to spread the wonderful news of what was already accomplished.

     It’s not the do’s and the don’ts, it’s the did’s. It is not what would Jesus do? It is what Jesus did. He finished it. He sat down and we sent Holy Spirit to you to teach you what he did so that you could start where he ended.

     Holy Spirit came to teach you just how free you are. You are not waiting to be rescued. You have been rescued. Your cage door was ripped off and you let teachers convince you that the door is still there and terrible things will happen to you if you go outside your cage. This is insanity.

     You are free for freedom’s sake. The Kingdom is righteousness, peace and joy, not calamity, fear and oppression. It’s time to shake off the lies and tear down the false teachings. It’s time to explore your freedom.

     Instead of being taught that you must continue to strive against sin all your life, what if you were taught the truth? What if you were taught that your sins were taken away by the blood of my son and now you are holy beings and sin is far from your new creation nature? 

     You are free and you can walk in complete holiness because the power of sin is broken. This is the truth. This is the message that was taught in the beginning. You have been programmed by religion to become slaves to sin even though you are holy beings and you are free.

     I have to tear down all the lies. It’s time for restoration and I can’t build on faulty foundations. So this is why many of you have been put into the fire. You had to see that all the lies you have trusted in didn’t work. You used all the things you were taught to do and found out that they were just programming and not truth.

     Victory is not a method or a program. Victory is a person. He is my son and you overcame in him. Not in your "name it claim it confess until your lips are numb" method. The church of today exchanged a person for a method. Fire has proved that these methods don’t work. Sure you have some success sometimes, but isn’t truth true all the time? If the method was approved by me wouldn’t it be successful one hundred percent of the time?

     My little children, it’s time to reset your faith. It’s time to turn your hearts back to me and my son. It’s time to discover who you are and how much you are loved.

     Think of it this way. Imagine you have a best friend who lives next door. Your friend told you that anytime you need help, just call and he will help you. Now imagine your house caught fire. Instead of calling your friend for help you just stood in the flames confessing “my friend will help me, my friend will help me, it is written in chapter two, verse four of our friendship clause that he will help me.” “I don’t really need my friend because I have his promise.” So instead of calling the friend who would love to help, you go down in flames. See how silly this sounds? Does this sound familiar? Are you calling on words in a book or calling on a living breathing person?

     The good news and truth of the gospel is that you can have fellowship and relationship with me. My son didn’t shed his blood so you could have more religion. He came so you could have fellowship.

     Do you remember that Jesus told you that I seek those who will worship me in spirit and in truth? Do you know why? It is because in heaven we call worship "fellowship." We all adore each other. You sing songs about me and I sing songs about you and we are in so much love.

     This is what I wanted restored in the earth. Before Holy Spirit came you could worship me on a worldly level but you couldn’t experience the spirit level fellowship that we enjoy in heaven. It really is that simple. I just wanted you to step up into my world so I could love you from here. I am a spirit and I want my children to enjoy the freedom of being spirits in my presence.

     Holy Spirit only dwells in holy temples, so Jesus came and took away all your sins and made you holy for my Spirit to dwell in you. Now it is all about teaching you how to live in the invisible kingdom that is not of your world.

     The law and the prophets were until John but since then the kingdom is preached. It’s all about waking you up to the fact that there is a kingdom the world can’t see, but you can see it because you are in it. Once your spirit eyes are fully opened, you will see me face to face and heart to heart. Religion blinds you so that you can’t see things as they really are. This is why I am lighting fire to what you call "church."

     So my loved ones, will you wake up and see the truth? Will you set aside all the lies you were taught and all the false programs that try to get you to an earthly level of holiness that is way below the holiness you were born into? You are my family. You are my friends. You are my love and I want you to see me as I am. I want you to know how much you are loved and how welcome you are in my presence. You are not wicked beings. You are holy beings who got confused because you believed the lie.

     It’s the same old trick. In the garden the serpent said “eat this fruit, gain this knowledge and you will be like God.” Now the church says “learn all these facts and figures and chapters and verses and you will be like God.” My loved ones you are already created in my image and after my likeness. You are born of my Spirit and you are my offspring.

     The whole family in heaven and earth bears my name. Do you think you can add to your inheritance by learning what to do; or will you learn more by knowing who you are? 

     Think about this in the natural so you can understand the spiritual. Were you born with your last name? Who gave it to you? Did you earn it or were you born with it? Did you buy it by good works or did your parents pass it on to you in love?

     Please my beloved, stop struggling to become what you already are. Instead of learning to be my child awaken to the fact that you are my child. Learn who you are and what it means to be who you are by looking at me. How you see yourself will change when you look at me. Look into my eyes and whatever reflection you see of yourself is who you really are. 

     I am the true mirror. When you see me you will be like me. When you see a loving Father who gave all he had because of great love you will be filled with that love and then my fullness can awaken in you.

     Don’t be disturbed when I tear down this monster called religion. It is the beast and false prophet. It speaks blasphemies against me and my son. Blasphemies like “my son’s blood wasn’t enough. Something else must be done to make you holy.” A blasphemy like, “yes, Jesus shed his blood but you still need Moses, and you better give to the church or you will be cursed. ”

     Don’t cry when you see it fall my beloved. Truth will reveal the lies. The day is dawning and religion is burning. The truth is coming to set fire to all that is not built on love. You are born in love, you are my beloved so don’t be afraid. Rest in my love. Don’t be afraid of the flames: Liar, Liar, Church on Fire!
