First John Chapter Five
New Living Translation

     Everyone who believes that Jesus is the Christ has become a child of God. And everyone who loves the Father loves his children, too.

     We know we love God’s children if we love God and obey his commandments... Loving God means keeping his commandments, and his commandments are not burdensome.

     For every child of God defeats this evil world and we achieve this victory through our faith. And who can win this battle against the world? Only those who believe that Jesus is the Son of God.

     And Jesus Christ was revealed as God’s Son by his baptism in water and by shedding his blood on the cross, not by water only, but by water and blood. And the Spirit, who is truth, confirms it with his testimony. So we have these three witnesses the Spirit, the water, and the blood and all three agree.

     Since we believe human testimony, surely we can believe the greater testimony that comes from God. And God has testified about his Son. All who believe in the Son of God know in their hearts that this testimony is true. Those who don’t believe this are actually calling God a liar because they don’t believe what God has testified about his Son.

     And this is what God has testified: He has given us eternal life, and this life is in his Son. Whoever has the Son has life; whoever does not have God’s Son does not have life.

     I have written this to you who believe in the name of the Son of God; so that you may know you have eternal life. And we are confident that he hears us whenever we ask for anything that pleases him. And since we know he hears us when we make our requests, we also know that he will give us what we ask for.

     If you see a Christian brother or sister sinning in a way that does not lead to death, you should pray, and God will give that person life. But there is a sin that leads to death, and I am not saying you should pray for those who commit it. All wicked actions are sin, but not every sin leads to death.

     We know that God’s children do not make a practice of sinning, for God’s Son holds them securely, and the evil one cannot touch them. We know that we are children of God and that the world around us is under the control of the evil one.

     And we know that the Son of God has come, and he has given us understanding so that we can know the true God. And now we live in fellowship with the true God because we live in fellowship with his Son, Jesus Christ. He is the only true God, and he is eternal life.

     Dear children, keep away from anything that might take God’s place in your hearts.



     As I was reading this chapter today I noticed that there are three steps to the life of faith. First is to believe in Jesus. To really believe that he is the Son of God and to believe he really accomplished all that was needed to perfect us.

     The second is to believe in who we are. We must know and believe that we already are living in eternal life. Sure our bodies may return to dust but our spirits and souls are already living an eternal existence. It can’t be some future event. It must be settled in our hearts that we are already living in the eternal realm.

     Third, is fellowship. The reason for all that Jesus did was to restore fellowship with God. We must trust that Jesus took away all our sins and made us pure so we can fellowship with him with a pure conscience. We know that we are clean and pure because of his blood and if we do make a mistake and continue in the light his blood keeps us pure and clean. This leads to unbroken fellowship.

     As I was writing these words I was pleasantly interrupted by the voice of my Savior. He asked me to continue writing and share his words with you. Here are his words.

     My dearest children: You were gone astray. I missed you. I loved you before you went astray. I loved you while you were astray and I love you now that you are home.

     The reason for all I did was to restore you to our family. Those of you with children that are going the wrong way understand that it hurts deeply to see your children going the wrong way because that way does not lead home.

     This is why Father sent me. Unlike the brother of the prodigal son who stayed home I wasn’t willing to stay home. My family had left the safety of our home and gotten lost in the wilderness called the world. I came and sought you out one by one and brought you back so that my Father’s heart could once again be full of joy.

     It was our great love for you that caused this. While you were wandering around the earth thinking you were nothing but pig feeders we were in love with you and seeking you and calling for you. You are the treasure of heaven and you are loved and adored at all times.

     Your guilty conscience wouldn’t allow you to fellowship with us because you saw yourselves as worthless, dirty sinners when all the time you were truly children of heaven. We would call and you wouldn’t come home because you saw yourselves as runaway slaves and not as dear children.

     So I came and took away all your sin and evil and washed you until you were pure and made fellowship available to you. The only thing lacking is your belief in my message that proves this. 

     You may have been satisfied to come home and be a slave but this was not Father’s plan at all. It didn’t matter where you had been or what you had done. All that matters was for you to come home and get your righteous robe and your ring with the family symbol on it.

     My beloved, will you please believe the true gospel? Will you know that if you believe in me you are living in eternity already? Those who believe in me never die. The moment you check out of your body you check into heaven. Didn’t my beloved Paul tell you this? He longed to come home and be with me but remained awhile on earth to continue teaching to establish my church.

     You must learn to see that eternal fellowship with me has already begun. Faith is the realm called “now” and hope is a future word. You must believe that you have passed from death to life and go ahead and start living in heaven right now. Do you remember that I told you to pray “on earth as in heaven?” What happens in heaven? Fellowship happens. All of Father’s children sing and dance about the throne and they go door to door, mansion to mansion speaking to each other about how glorious Father is.

     Is it so hard to believe that you dwell in this world already? You are seated with me in heavenly places. Your spirit lives in this world because all of heaven and earth lives inside us. There is no separation. Heaven is not far away. The Kingdom is within you and you are within the kingdom. It is time to believe the truth.

     My loved ones it is time for the church to awake. The early church saw me and would fellowship with me. The apostles could sing while in chains because they knew I was there with them. How can you be in prison when the one who has the keys to all things is in there with you? There are no locks that can lock you in. I even have the keys to death, hell and the grave. No one is so locked up that they can’t be set free. The things that imprison you are just lies.

     My precious ones: believe in me and believe my gospel. I took away your guilt and sin and made you holy. I hear your every thought and whisper. I am trying to have fellowship with you and you keep putting it off until the sweet by and by. How about the sweet now and now? You can do this. You can enter into this blessed faith that makes you able to know as you are known and see as you are seen.

     These are the three steps: Believe in me. Believe you are who I made you to be. Fellowship with me on earth as you would in heaven.

     I love you dear children. You are the delight of heaven. Wake up and let’s fellowship together. Let’s have a heavenly time right here on earth. I didn’t give my life for you to have you run from me. I gave my life so you could have fellowship with me and my Father. I sent Holy Spirit to live inside you and teach you these things. Holy Spirit will show you all these things if you will listen and not be afraid. 

     Don't forget, believe in me, believe in you in me and fellowship with us.

     My loved ones, meditate on how much you are loved, and then love each other with the love that you are loved with.

Glorious Days Ahead!

     While praying this morning Father spoke to me the following words and told me to share them with you.

He said:

     My little children: Are you ready? Are you ready to see my glory fill the earth? Will you put aside your preconceived beliefs about the day you are in? Will you be willing just to listen to your spirit and listen to my Spirit communing with you?

     How may I say it any stronger? The earth is mine and the fullness thereof. It is not owned by some family or some group of people who have bound themselves by an oath to control it. They may have temporarily grabbed the wealth of the world but they will not hold it long. Wealth is gathered to be returned to the ones who are justified. Don’t be afraid of them. They will soon cease to exist and their power over the nations will be broken. In one short season all their plans and controlling ways be brought to nothing. They planned to control wealth and people and slavery and stole the wealth and the children of nations. They controlled armies and weapons but didn’t plan on being destroyed by truth.

     This world is mine and I gave it to my children. It is the inheritance of the meek. It does not belong to some future leader you call Antichrist. It belongs to the real Christ, the one and only. It was made by him and for him and exists because of him. 

     It is time to put away all the lies and fear that you have learned and learn the truth. I didn’t spill the blood of my son as payment to sin to redeem my children only to throw it all away and forget that it ever happened. The blood of my son cries out from the ground where it was spilled. It is not like Abel’s blood crying out for vengeance. It is crying out for holiness and restoration. It is crying what he cried. “Father forgive them, they don’t know what they are doing.”

     My children, this world is not coming to an end. It is coming to perfection. The earth is groaning and travailing waiting to give birth. The storms and fires and earthquakes are not my judgment upon people. They are the cries of a pregnant world who is long past due waiting to be delivered. It is waiting for my church to stop looking for a cave to hide in and to stop looking to run away from its responsibility of tending the world. The garden cries for its gardener.

     I told Adam to subdue all the darkness in the world and turn the whole earth into a garden. The first Adam failed. The last Adam did not. He shed tears and blood in the garden to put things in order. He took upon his own head the thorns that the earth was cursed with. He removed all curses from the earth and from the people. He then told his disciples the same thing we told the first Adam. He told them to go into the entire world and heal the sick, raise the dead and cast the devil out of the garden. The church was given the order to put things right again. The church was commissioned to subdue the darkness of the world and turn the earth into heaven.

     Liars have crept in and told you terrible stories of how bad things are and told you that your only hope is in escaping. Your enemy wants you to abandon the earth and leave it in his hands. He would love nothing more than to destroy my creation. This is not my plan. Did Jesus pray that my will would be done and it would be on earth as in heaven only until some scary guy named Antichrist comes? Do you think we are weak and unable to rule?

     Wake up my children and stop running from your calling and your responsibility. This earth will one day soon look so much like heaven that you won’t be able to tell them apart. My glory will fill the earth. The righteous ones will shine like the sun and evil doers will hide in rocks and caves because I will make my face shine upon you and they won’t be able to stand in my glory flowing through you. 

     Will you be the generation I am waiting for that will begin this process or will you hide like the last few who didn’t see me as a God who can deliver and overcome, but only saw me as one who is at the mercy of the world system. How foolish is this?

     I told my beloved Son to sit and rest at my right hand UNTIL I put all his enemies under his feet. Until all his enemies bow and worship him. He is not coming until this is done. There is no escape and run for the hills gospel. There is the gospel of the kingdom which is the good news that your King sits on his throne and you are his kings and priests taking possession of the earth one life at a time.

     Will you please wake up all who are asleep and tell them that my Son sits on the throne? No world government sits on the throne. No person called Antichrist sits on the throne. No one who is controlling the world’s money is sitting on the throne. My Son is on my throne and you are in him. He is in you. So why be afraid of the world?

     You will overcome by his blood and your testimony and by not loving your lives even until death. Here is the problem in my church. Many are still terrified of death and have not realized they already died. Those who are in my Son will never taste death again. You were crucified with him. You were buried with him in baptism and you are risen in spirit. 

     Only those who are scared want to escape. Those who have believed my true gospel want to see the earth look like heaven and are willing to lay down their lives to see that happen. They are willing to spread the good news of my love until all believe and there are no enemies left.

     So my loved ones, do you believe that I loved the world so much I sent my son to save it? Or do you believe that I am so angry with the world that I can’t wait to destroy it? Think hard for a moment. Do you really think that I would pour out my son’s blood and then walk away? Do you believe that I am in love with every man, woman and child on earth no matter how evil you think they are? 

     Have you forgotten that your fight is not with people but with evil powers in the unseen world? You are not wrestling with people but with wicked spirits who have deceived the people into their belief systems.

     Dear beloved children, I have given the earth to you. It belongs to you as your inheritance and you are my inheritance. It is your garden now. Will you continue to let the weeds grow or will you start planting truth until earth is like heaven? Will you root out the weeds in your own belief system and then help others? Will you look at people through the truth of the cross of my son? If my Son could look at those who were nailing him to the cross and those who were spitting on him and insulting him and have mercy on them then can’t you put up with a little trouble also?

     Consider what I said through my beloved David in what you call Psalm 37:

Don’t worry about the wicked or envy those who do wrong.

For like grass, they soon fade away. Like spring flowers, they soon wither.

Trust in the LORD and do good. Then you will live safely in the land and prosper.

Take delight in the LORD, and he will give you your heart’s desires.

Commit everything you do to the LORD. Trust him, and he will help you.

He will make your innocence radiate like the dawn,
and the justice of your cause will shine like the noonday sun.

Be still in the presence of the LORD, and wait patiently for him to act.

Don’t worry about evil people who prosper or fret about their wicked schemes.

Stop being angry! Turn from your rage! Do not lose your temper, it only leads to harm.

For the wicked will be destroyed, but those who trust in the LORD will possess the land.

Soon the wicked will disappear. Though you look for them, they will be gone.

The lowly will possess the land and will live in peace and prosperity.


     My loved ones: speak the truth in love until all who are deceived by the wicked one turn from their darkness and walk in light. Most people aren’t wicked they are only deceived. If they knew the truth they would walk in him.

     This world is not coming to an end. It is coming to a glorious new beginning. The systems that control the earth now are passing away and will soon vanish. 

     When earth's purpose is fulfilled it will be overcome with the fire of my glory and be changed into that very glory. All the heavens and earth will be transformed and recreated in holiness. Never again will sin be committed and all will live in holiness. 

     Until that day it is your assignment to do your part to build my garden. Bear the fruit of my Spirit and fill the earth with my fragrance. Do not be afraid. Do not be angry at the wicked ones or be in fear of them. Have a father’s heart towards those who went astray. 

     Don’t be dismayed when you see things happen that you don’t understand. Don't rush to judgment or quickly call them my doing. Your assignment is to walk in love, to spread my good news and to fill earth with the heaven that is in you.

     My Son’s prayer that he told you to pray will be answered. It will be on earth as it is in heaven. The earth will be filled with my glory because it will be filled with my glorious ones. 

     Arise and shine my beloved. No more fear. No more doubt. The earth is given into your hands. Will you take it or seek to escape it? There are Glorious Days Ahead! My beloved, make yourself ready for a wedding, don’t dress for a funeral.

I Love This Mystery Called You

     Thanks to all of you who read and respond with kind comments and most of all with prayers. It is a great joy to share this journey with each of you as we discover who our Father truly is and who we are. The more I know him the more I find him to be the kindest person I ever knew.

     Today’s blog is about that kindness. On Friday September 7th I was having an awful day. Things were about as bad as they could be. It was a hard struggle but some of you sent encouraging words and I could feel the prayers of many of you on my behalf and I am so grateful.

     As things that day went from bad to worse I finally decided that I was not going to be a victim of circumstances any longer. I took out my guitar and began singing with all my heart to my Lord. I used worship as a weapon to drive away all the negative things that had surrounded me. As I began feeling better I knelt to pray and at this moment something very amazing happened.

     Suddenly things disappeared and I was in the spirit realm. I was standing before the throne and in awe of God Almighty’s glory. The light was too bright for my eyes to see his throne but I could see Jesus sitting by his side. 

     As I bowed to worship I was told to come nearer. I slowly walked up towards Jesus and my anguish left. I was overcome with joy inexpressible. As I gazed upon him I felt his loving eyes pierce right through me with love that I can’t even describe. I waited a moment and soaked in his glory.

     As I became more comfortable with my surroundings I looked and Jesus had a book in his hands. He asked me what I needed and I said “Lord I would like to know what you are reading? He held up the book and it was entitled “The Book of Michael Ott.” I was amazed and he began to tell me about this book.

     He said, “All my children have their own book and this is yours. I wrote it long before you were a conscious being. Long before you had form or substance or imagination I loved you in my heart and you existed in my love. You have never been alone even for one moment in your life. You have been safe in my hands and in my heart and you have always been adored. On your worst days and best days my burning love for you never wanes. You are my delightful child and what you are going through doesn’t change my love for you or my plans for you."

     I was curious so I asked if everything was written in the book. Is my life completely written in stone or are there things that are my choice? He said, “There are some events like your birth and your family and many blessings that were written to appear in your life. There are also some blank pages for you to fill in. It’s an open book and you have the power to write what you wish on the book of your life. I love the pages that we write together; the ones where you fellowship with me and consult with me and we work together; me working with and through you to write in the empty pages. This is my favorite part."

     I was again curious so I asked: “what about my mistakes and failures? Are they written there too?” He said, “They have all been deleted and are never mentioned.” “If you do the wrong thing or go against the plan of victory written in your book then we take steps to bring you back onto the right page and to the right line. You could never go so far away that I wouldn’t bring you back. You can’t run from me for I live in you.”

     Suddenly I began weeping with joy. The tears of sadness that I cried just moments earlier were dried and forgotten for the moment and I was lost in glorious joy. He knew what I would ask next so he reached out his hand and said “would you like to see yourself in my book I wrote about you?”

     I took the book and began at the beginning and I began to see all the ways that I had gotten off script and how he used events and people and even angels to bring me back onto the page where I belong and back into the safety of his book. Suddenly I realized that I didn’t have much time to stay there so I quickly turned to the last page of the book. I wanted to see my ending. I wanted to know where my life ends and when. I thought it would be good to know so I could be ready when the time comes.

     Much to my surprise as I got to the last page and looked down at the last line I closed my eyes. Do I really want to see this? I thought about it a moment and decided that I did so I opened my eyes and saw these words highlighted with glory and it read: “Not the end. Only the beginning!

     I laughed with delight because it occurred to me that we put so much focus on the here and now and we never even considered that the entirety of our lives on earth may just be the forward of the book of our lives.

     As I stood there giggling like a little schoolgirl Jesus spoke to me. He told me to look at the book again more closely. So I looked at the cover and once again I saw in bold letters: The Book of Michael Ott. But what I failed to notice was at the bottom of the cover it said “Chapter One.”

     I stood there amazed and full of wonder and worship. How much does he love us that he took the time to write a book of each of our lives? He made them to be living books so even though the plan of victory for our lives is concrete and his calling is sure, there are living pages that can be rearranged to bring things back into order and get us back on track for his plan. Oh how great is his wisdom and love. Bless his holy name forever and ever and ever!

     I knew it was time for me to go so He asked me to bring back this message to each of you and here is what he says:

     “My beloved children: You are not wandering in a wilderness. You are living a book called your life. Yes there are struggles, but which of you would read a book if it began with “It’s a wonderful day and every page was the same? A book where there is no trouble or suspense or danger, just sunshine every day? It would be a boring book wouldn’t it? And in a book like that how would the characters learn truth and love and learn to overcome to the point where they could be trusted with the power of the age to come?”

     “All this will make perfect sense when you reach chapter two. Even I had to come and partake of the struggles and trials and even death. There was only one way to defeat death and that was to go through it and come out the other side alive. “

     “Please my children don’t fret or worry. If you feel out of place just stand still and come to me and ask me what page of your book you are supposed to be on and how to get back to living the script of life. 

     You were never an accident born without a plan for bringing you to glory. If I put the sun and stars in order and even set the bounds for the sea and wrote my life in the stars do you not realize that you are part of this glorious plan? You are the plan. You are my precious loved ones. I created you to share my eternity with. The only reason I needed an eternity is so that I could fully reveal myself to you over time so that you could know how much you are loved.

     My beloved ones: No more fear and worry no sadness and weeping. This is why I told my apostles not to rejoice in the power they had over the enemy but to rejoice that their names are written in heaven. Your name is written there too. It is written in my book and yours. It is written in my heart. 

     You are the plan and you are my book. I love reading about you in my book. Keep writing love letters to me on the blank pages. I love it when you do that. It is like a diary we share and we both have a key and no one else ever sees what we write. "

     “My dearest children: Know you are loved. Come see me and read about yourself in my book. Come boldly in worship, knowing that you are always welcome. I entered into heaven with my blood and left the gates open for you to follow me right in. This is your home. All that I have is yours. You are welcome here. Come and ready my book.”

     As all of you know that each time I have an encounter like this I write a song to commemorate it. It keeps it real to me. When the enemy comes by and tells me it was just an imagination I can sing the song and he leaves like ten minutes ago.

     As I was praying today, Father spoke to me and asked me to write down these words to share with you. I hope you are as encouraged by them as I was. I am so thankful for all of you who read and listen. We get to learn together and that is a great joy to me. So thanks again for walking this trail with me and for sharing these words with your loved ones.

Father said:

     My lovable, delightful children: The reason your power level and prayer level is low is because you still see me as separate from you and I am not. There is no separation between us. We are one Spirit, One faith, and one breath.

     The energy that makes you who you are is spirit energy and it is one with me. Just as we are one spirit, I long for us to be one flesh also. I want your body to become one with me. You can be so infused with my presence that your body resonates with me.

     Just like a tuning an instrument with a tuning fork, your body can be so in tune with me that you can no longer tell what is flesh and what is spirit. This is what happened to my son on the mount of transfiguration. When you get fully surrendered to my spirit your body joins in the love fest and you become saturated with my loving presence.

     This will open your natural eyes and ears to see the heavenly realm. Are you willing to come that far? Are you willing to open the veil within you and step into my world? I opened the veil into your world and stepped into you. I live inside you but your mind is a curtain that keeps me from being fully functional in your body.

     If you are willing to have your mind renewed you can become whole again. This is not done from outside learning. Renewing your mind comes from within. I told you about the new covenant. I will write my laws on your hearts and on your minds. I will live in you and be God on the inside and will write from within. This is the reason so many fail. They are taught to renew their minds from physical external learning and not from heart learning that comes from fellowship with me.

     It even goes beyond fellowship. It is more of an awakening to our oneness. It’s renewing your mind to the absolute truth that we are one spirit. As long as you see us as separate you are double minded. You must see yourself in me and me in you.

     It’s like the parable where the woman mixed the leaven in three parts. Your heart, your mind and your body until all were filled. This is the truth of the gospel. We are not two. We are one. Nothing can separate you from my love and I cannot be separated from love for love is who I am. This is your enemies’ plan to make you think that you are there and I am up here. This is not true.

     The whole purpose of the cross was not about sin but about getting my Spirit from outside of you to the inside and getting you from the outside into my spirit to worship me in spirit and in truth. You could not become one with me so I became one with you. I loved you as you were in your sin but you could never see yourself as one with me as long as you felt guilt over your sin. I had to show you that your sin was washed away so that you would not be ashamed and then you could become one with me.

     There was guilt and enmity in your mind, not mine. You were never really my enemy. An enemy has power to inflict his opponent with death and destruction. Mankind was never powerful enough to end my everlasting life, so you were just kidding yourselves to think you could be my enemy. I took away all your guilt and sin so you could rest in my forgiveness and walk in harmony with me.

     Think of it this way. Imagine you were in love with someone but you thought they were angry with you. You thought you were not worthy of their friendship so you loved them from a distance. Your whole relationship in your mind was based on the assumption that you could never really be friends with them. After all you had been mean to them and hurt their feelings and you didn’t think they could love you the way you are. You only concentrated on the wrong you did and not on their love.

     Yet your friend loved you all the time and never counted your sins against you because they understood that you were not evil, you were just broken. Your friend knew that when you lash out at them it was not because you hate them but because you are frustrated with who you think you are. So one day your friend takes all that guilt and shame and drew it unto himself and carried it into a grave so that you could never have to face it again. Then your friend rose from the grave and left all your brokenness behind leaving you with a clean conscience so you could freely love him.

     This is the truth of the cross. It’s not about an angry God getting even. It’s a rescue mission to save the one he loves from their own guilt. I loved you but your guilty conscience would not allow you to give yourself totally to me. So I came to take away your guilt so we could freely love each other.

      This is the problem with my church. I pronounced mankind innocent by reason of my son’s blood but every Sunday preachers all over the world get them to once again see themselves as guilty. And once again the veil covers your eyes and you can’t see how much I am in love with you. After all that I did to rescue you they send you right back in time to a world where the cross never happened.

     They don’t realize that by doing this they are diminishing the glory of my son on his cross. His glorious love was revealed but they don’t look at his glory and in turn teach you to turn your eyes from his glorious love and turn them back to your guilt. Those who preach condemnation are enemies of the cross. They do this because they were blinded the same way they blind others.

     It’s time to change this. Your salvation is not based on your works. You didn’t buy it or find it so you can’t lose it. It was a gift of my love and my grace based on the faith that I put in your heart. You did not choose me, I chose you. By grace you are saved through faith, but it was my faith and not yours that saved you. I gave to every man the measure of faith so all the glory could be on my son and not anywhere else.

     Only by embracing your true innocence can you leave the lie of the old nature behind. You don’t really have an old nature. It was crucified with Christ but by believing you are guilty you enter into things from your past.

     Once you know how innocent you are you will begin to walk in true holiness. True holiness is not keeping all the laws and rules. True holiness is a life force that comes from within you. Once you know you are a holy being you will live as a holy being. The law could not produce this so I sent my son in the likeness of sinful flesh to destroy the works of the flesh. Once you are willing to let go of guilt you can take hold of holy righteousness.

     Will you do this for me my beloved ones? Will you let go of your guilty conscience? Will you let the sprinkled blood of my son cleanse your conscience from guilt so that you can run to me and not from me? A child who thinks he is guilty runs from his parents. A child who knows he is innocent runs to his Daddy and sits in his lap and hugs him.

     You are my innocent children. Your sin and guilt was done away with. You are free to sit in my lap and let me teach you who you are. Moses could teach you how to survive in the wilderness. I can teach you to live victoriously in the kingdom of love. I can teach you to sing and dance and live with delight in the promised land of love that my son created for you. The choice is yours. Continue to live in guilt or learn to live in the freedom of true holiness.

     I love you so very much my dear children. Don’t hide from me anymore. Your sins are gone and you need to let go of the guilt and dance in my delight for you.
